As soon as you drive off the ferry, you can already see it: a flat polder landscape surrounded by dunes with picturesque villages, farmhouses and lots of sheep. This characteristic landscape turns a holiday on Texel into a unique experience. Close to dunes and the beach, and within walking distance of the cosy seaside resort De Koog, lies Kustpark Texel. With the extensive entertainment offer for all ages, boredom is not an option here. For example, there is a mini-golf course next to the subtropical swimming pool and the bike hire is also very popular. Explore the island and cycle to the beach in the evening to enjoy the sunset.

Enjoy peace and tranquillity in the Butterfly Garden, or swing away in one of the hammocks under the stars. Want to get out and about? At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. You can only bring 2 pets per accommodation. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. Calluna Pool is an ideal family pool with a beach pool, an 85-metre slide, a competition and wave pool, a water mushroom, a wild water creek and 2 spacious whirlpools with water massage benches. The little ones can play and splash around in the paddling pool.
Access and opening hours
During your holiday at the park, you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool. Make a reservation for a day and time block in advance. You can access the pool with this reservation. The swimming pool is open every day. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. Don't forget to bring a €1 coin as a deposit.

The most beautiful nature reserve of the Netherlands.
The dunes of Texel is a varied landscape with lots of wet dune valleys between dry dunes, forests, heaths, salt marshes and a vast beach area. Many plant and animal species have found their place in this diverse area. The expanse of sea and beach, the seclusion of forests and the vast dunes make the Dunes of Texel National Park a beautiful area to visit and a valuable area to protect.
Climb Texel's iconic red lighthouse. A spiral staircase takes you up all six floors of the tower. All the way to the top, you are at 47 metres high! The Texel Lighthouse is the only lighthouse in the Netherlands where you can look out over the sea on three sides.
An artisanal brewery with special beer
See, taste and discover what makes the specialty beers of Texel so special. Come find out with a tour of the brew house where you can see the big copper boilers and more! The tour concludes with a tasting of Texel beers.
A fun and educational outing
Ecomare is a natural history museum, a seal sanctuary, an aquarium and a bird sanctuary. Ecomare is located in the National Park 'Dunes of Texel'. This is the centre for the Wadden Sea and North Sea on Texel. You can all learn about the different animals, the nature on Texel, the Wadden Sea and the North Sea and about the influence of man in this area.
