Houses with the numbers 1 to 29: Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan 175, The Hague. You arrive at the nearby public parking lot. Take exit 2a towards the beach and follow the signs "Kijkduin Strandhuisjes".
Houses with the numbers 30 to 39: Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan 450, The Hague. You arrive at the entrance of the park. Park your car and take exit 2 towards the beach and follow the signs "Kijkduin Strandhuisjes".
- Dune villa guests (no. 1 to 203): It is not allowed to park your car directly at the villa. However, you can load and unload your car on arrival and departure days and then park it for free on the parking spaces along the Duinlaan or Parklaan. Should you choose to leave your car next to the villa, you'll risk getting a fine.
- Dune chalet guests (no. 451 to 638): Parking is available close to the chalets.
- Dune chalet (no. 401 to 447) or dune villa guests (no. 1 to 203) in a permanent car-free zone: You may park your car in the car parks provided (P1, P2, P3). These car parks offer the most convenient access to your dune chalet or dune villa.
- Campground guests: You should park your car at the campsite. If you are arriving with more than one car, please park the extra car outside the park on Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan.
Any amounts due listed on your voucher should be paid to our account straight away. If you have already transferred the amount due to our account or are planning to do so immediately, be sure to bring valid proof of payment (e.g. bank statement). You will need to submit this to the park reception when you arrive. If you do not have valid proof of payment you will be obliged to pay the outstanding amount when you arrive at the park.
For your convenience we have placed a service set in your accommodation. The set includes practical items such as cleaning products.
Friends and family are very welcome. We kindly ask that your visitors report to the park reception if they plan to spend the night. Here you can also pay the local taxes. Visitors can park their vehicles outside the park, on the Machiel Vrijenhoeklaan.
You can access you accommodation from 3 p.m. Did you booked a campsite? This will be available from 1 p.m. on every day of the week. You can arrive on Monday and Friday until 6:00 PM. If you arrive on another day or after closing time of the park reception, please contact the park reception on tel.: 0031 (0)704 482 100.
Have you made a reservation for accommodation type Bungalowtent?
If you made a reservation for a Bungalowtent, you can arrive daily from 3 until 5 p.m.
Have you made a reservation for accommodation type Haagsestrandhuisje or Kijkduin Strandhuisje?
If you made a reservation for a Strandhuisje, you will find your key in the lock box on the outside of the cabin. To open this you enter the personal code that you have received from us prior to arrival. What if you lose the code or the lock box does not open? Please report it to the reception.
Have you booked a special package deal?
You will receive all of the necessary information about your special package at the reception on the day you arrive. Please keep in mind that you should arrive before 6 p.m. if your special package starts on the day you check in.
Access to the park/accommodation
You can use your Keycard to open the gate at the main entrance. When you put your card in the slot at the main gate, your arrival is automatically registered. You do not need to report to reception; you can proceed directly to your accommodation or campsite. You can use your Keycard to open the door to your holiday home from 3 p.m. onwards.
The Keycard is strictly personal and can be used for:
- access to the park with your own vehicle
- access to the accommodation
- access to the campsite with your own vehicle and toilet
- proof of ID at the park
The Keycard is not a credit card, and it is non-transferable. In case of loss or left, please notify the park reception immediately. Do not keep the Keycard on the dashboard of your car in the sun, near loudspeakers, magnets or mobile telephones.
We regularly have guests who have lost their Keycard or left it in their accommodation. If this happens, inform the park reception as soon as possible.
If your holiday accommodation has free Wi-Fi, you will find the log-in code on the outside of the kitchen cupboard.
Access to the swimming paradise
All guests are welcome to use the Magna Aqua swimming pool free of charge every day during their holiday. You will find the opening hours at the entrance of the swimming pool. The Keycard acts as your pool pass.
Your accommodation comes complete with the inventory that corresponds to the number of people which it was designed to accommodate including.
Glasses: wine glasses, juice glasses, beer glasses
Pans: set of saucepans, frying pan
Crockery: coffee cups and saucers, mugs and/or tea cups, soup mugs and/or bowls, breakfast plates, dinner plates, dessert bowls, set of serving bowls, egg cups
Cutlery: knives, spoons, forks, teaspoons, salad tongs, ladle , vegetable spoons, soupspoon
Other household items: potato peeler, fish slice, tin opener, bread knife, whisk, wooden spoon, cheese slicer, corkscrew, table mat, cutting board, teapot, colander, kitchen waste bin, dustpan and brush, broom, toilet brush and holder
We kindly ask that you check out of your accommodation before 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. Did you stay at a campsite, then you have to leave this no later than 11 a.m. The Keycards don't have to be returned. If you leave earlier than the agreed departure day, we ask you to put the Keycard in the mailbox at the park reception. You will be checked out automatically. Tenants of a Duinvilla can get a free outside departure days
After you have left, the housekeeping department checks your holiday accommodation for hygiene, missing inventory and damage. This final inspection is the reason that we charge a deposit of € 65 per holiday accommodation per period. If you leave the holiday accommodation according to our rules and your IBAN is known, we will transfer this amount to you 7 days after departure. If the domestic service department has to carry out (cleaning) work, (a part of) the deposit will be retained. You will receive a written notice about this.
