General

Parking

  • Per accommodation up to 6 persons there is one parking spaceavailable.
  • Per accommodation for 8 persons there are two parking spacesavailable.
  • Per accommodation for 12 persons there are three parking spacesavailable.
  • Per accommodation for 14 persons there are three parking spaces available.
  • Per accommodation for 18 persons there are four parking spacesavailable.
  • Per accommodation for 22 persons there are five parking spaces available.

All the parking spaces are near your accommodation. Other cars can be parked at the parking lot at the Service point.

Camping visitors can park their car at the parking area near the campsite or at one of the large parking lots. Parking it not allowed at the campsites.  

EV charging station

The park has a central charging point for electric cars. To use a charging point, you must have a charging card. Charging cards are not available at the park.

Amounts due

Any amounts due listed on your voucher should be paid to our account straight away. If you have already transferred the amount due to our account or are planning to do so immediately, be sure to bring valid proof of payment (e.g. bank statement). You will need to submit this to the Service point when you arrive. If you do not have valid proof of payment you will be obliged to pay the outstanding amount when you arrive at the park.

Service set

For your convenience we have placed a service set in your accommodation. The set includes practical items such as cleaning products.

Visitors

Friends and family are very welcome. They must always report to the Service point. Visitors are welcome to park their vehicles in the car park by the entrance to the park.

Access to the swimming pool

All park guests can use the Katjeskelder swimming pool free of charge. Always bring your Keycard with you, that way we know you are a park guest. Overnight guests and day visitors can also access the indoor swimming pool by paying an admission fee at the Service point. 

Arrival, access and check-in

Arrival

On the day of arrival, your holiday accommodation is available from 4 p.m. Did you booked a campsite? This will be available from 1 p.m. For arrivals on Friday, Monday and national holidays, you can check in until 8 p.m. On all other days, you can check in until 5 p.m.

If you arrive after the Service point has closed, you can check in until 10 p.m. at the bar (on the square). If you will be arriving later, please phone the Service point ahead of time on 0031 (0)162 453 539.

Have you booked a special package deal?

You will receive all of the necessary information about your special package at the Service point on the day you arrive. Please keep in mind that you should arrive before 6 p.m. if your special package starts on the day you check in.

Access to the park/accommodation

Guests of De Katjeskelder can check in automatically with their home-based Keycard. You can use this Keycard to open the gate. You are checked in automatically as soon as the gate opens, and you can proceed directly to your accommodation or campsite. You can also open your accommodation with the Keycard. Camping visitors can report at the Service point.

Keycard

The Keycard is strictly personal and can be used for:

  • access to the park
  • access to the campsite with your own vehicle
  • access to the accommodation
  • access to the pool
  • proof of ID at the park

The Keycard is not a credit card, and it is non-transferable. In case of loss or left, please notify the Service point immediately. Do not keep the Keycard on the dashboard of your car in the sun, near loudspeakers, magnets or mobile telephones.

Departure & administrative handling

Departure

On the day of departure, you should leave your holiday accommodation by 10 a.m. at the latest. The campsite has to leave at 11.00 am at the latest. Key cards do not have to be handed in.

Leaving your holiday home neat and tidy

After you have left, the housekeeping department checks your holiday accommodation for hygiene, missing inventory and damage. This final inspection is the reason that we charge a deposit of € 65/€ 115 per holiday accommodation per period. We will return the deposit to your account within 7 days if the accommodation has been left tidy and damage-free, and the inventory is complete. If this is not the case, we will pay for the repairs or cleaning work using the deposit. We will always let you know.
