Traditional clothing, wooden houses, smoked eel, boats and clumps… Nowhere in the Netherlands do this many typically Dutch traditions come together as in Volendam. Every day thousands of people from all over the world visit to taste the atmosphere of Volendam and enjoy the friendliness of its inhabitants. Built entirely in the typical building style from Volendam and located next to the town, there is Marinapark Volendam. There you may stay in a comfortable house with – your choice – a view on the IJsselmeer. From your home you can easily take a stroll along the famous “Dijk”, where it is always something to do to be thanks to the many terraces, souvenir shops and the motley crew of tourists. Remember to take a picture in a traditional costume! On the park there are a small supermarket and a swimming pool. The bus will take you from the park to the centre of Amsterdam in 20 minutes and the tulip fields, windmills and cheese markets in the near vicinity are also a real attraction. Enjoy a nice couple of days of Holland in Marinapark Volendam!

You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. The park has an indoor swimming pool where you can have a great time as a family. You are guaranteed water fun in the big pool. And the little ones can play and splash around in the paddling pool.
Access and opening hours
During your holiday at the park, you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool. You can enter the swimming pool with your key card. The swimming pool is open every day. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. Don't forget to bring a €1 coin as a deposit.

Good to know
Upon arrival at the park, please use the parking area located in front of the Service point. This parking area is located in a blue zone where you can park for a maximum of 4 hours with a parking disc. After checking in, you can open the boom gate and park for free in the central parking. The parking has charging points for your electric car.
The park has a clinic for dentistry, crown and bridge placement and cosmetic dentistry.
