Farm holiday

Experience ultimate outdoor living in the Green Heart countryside. You'll be staying on the farm with Lars and Annelies. They have a modern dairy farm. The 110 dairy cows are kept in a free-range barn. 6 luxury tents are pitched in a quiet place on the farm. Comfortable beds, a wood stove, a private shower and toilet: you'll want for nothing. There's no Wi-Fi or electricity, so you can spend quality time together. Has your e-reader battery run out, just as you have reached an exciting chapter? You can recharge it at the farm shop. In the evening, relax by candlelight under the starry sky. During the day, you can experience real farm life, or discover the surrounding countryside. Now that's what you call a holiday, with a touch of farm life.

Breakfast with real farmer's yogurt

Besides dairy cows, sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits also live on the yard. The farmer likes to show you how to milk, and the farmer's wife sometimes presents workshops in cheese or yoghurt making. Educational and delicious! Fresh products are of course available in the farm shop. Do you like spending time outdoors? You've come to the right place too! Enjoy a breakfast with local products, while gazing out over the polder. The farm is surrounded by water. Rent a canoe, or go ditch jumping. On a summer day, it's just half an hour's drive to the beach of Katwijk aan Zee or Noordwijk aan Zee.

Time for some action

Keukenhof, Duinrell or the Archeon. Just a few ideas for a trip off the farm. There is always something going on in the area! A day trip to Leiden is a fantastic outing too. After a day of strolling along the canals and moats, shopping and visiting museums, it's great coming home to the farm. While getting supper going on the wood stove, no rush at all, the kids are playing on the playground near the tents. Heavenly, such a holiday in the countryside!
