Relaxation in the middle of nature
Few places take you as near to nature as Vakantiepark Zeedijk. The park is situated between the vast mudflats of the Slikken van Flakkee and the small-scale Oude Dee, two nature reserves rich in rare flora and fauna. Don't be surprised if a white-tailed eagle alights near your holiday accommodation. You'll be engulfed in peace and quiet, punctuated only by birdsong. The saltwater lake of Grevelingenmeer is a stone's throw away. In winter, this is home to a colony of flamingoes, but at all other times of the year the area is your playground. Catch some rays, take to your SUP board or surfboard, or meet the locals: a colony of over a 100 seals. In addition, guests have free admission to the Zuiderdiep swimming pool in Stellendam. After a full day of relaxing, return to your sustainably constructed bungalow to let all the wonderful impressions sink in. Awaken refreshed the next day to continue your adventure!

Hit a ball in the middle of nature
Close to "De Slikken van Flakkee", you will find Golfbaan Catharinenburg. Catharinenburg includes an 18-hole par-72 golf course, an 18-hole par-3 course and a lesson and practice area. The par-3 course is accessible to everyone, the 18-hole course is only accessible if you have a golf proficiency certificate. The golf course is open 7 days a week and reservation is not required.
An educational day of spotting animals
During a visit to Faunapark Flakkee you can spot more than just animals. Learn all about the importance of biodiversity and our role in it. In addition to the caged animals, view native animals with the green heart route.
Water sports for everyone
Want to go enjoy the beautiful Grevelingenmeer from the water? At Aquavitesse you can rent a canoe or a sup, among other things. Bring your sandwiches and have a pleasant picnic along the way on one of the many islands. Fun for everyone!
Take a journey through the island history!
The museum consists of an old village shop, a fire department station and a period room. The collection includes earthenware, farming and fishing gear, funerary hatchments, paintings and so on. The museum is located in seven gabled houses from the seventeenth century, which are interlinked on the inside.
