Staying in the German countryside

Experience ultimate outdoor living in the Triberg countryside. You'll be staying on a farm run by the Wernet family. They own a livestock farm. 5 tents are pitched in a quiet hilly spot on the farm. Comfortable beds, a wood stove, a private shower and toilet: it has it all. There's no Wi-Fi or electricity, so you can spend quality time together. Has your e-reader battery run out, just as you've reached an exciting chapter? Simply pop into the farm shop to recharge it, and treat yourself to some farmhouse sausage, jam and cakes while you're at it. In the evening, relax by candlelight under the starry sky. During the day, you can experience real farm life, or discover the surrounding countryside. Now that's a holiday with a touch of farm life.

Get to know beautiful nature

Boerderij Hilserhof is located in the south of the Black Forest. The countryside around the farm is breathtaking. Here, you will find the highest waterfalls in Germany! But the countryside on the farm itself is beautiful too. With 14 hectares of forest and 16 hectares of grassland at different heights, you will definitely have much to see. Meet cattle, horses, ducks, pigs, rabbits and many more animals. The kids are allowed to help feed the animals, and of course, pet them too. That's going to be fun!

Easy to explore the region

Would you like to explore the surroundings of Hilserhof? Then the regional map will be a godsend. The farmer's wife will be happy to tell you about it. There are lovely cities that you can easily reach by train, like Baden-Baden, Freiburg and Titisee. Or the French Strasbourg. Do you prefer walking or cycling? That's also possible in the vicinity of the farm. There are challenging mountain bike trails too, and you can go paragliding or canoeing. After a fun, long day, you will completely relax in your lovely tent. What more could you ask for?
