The Sneekermeer lake is ideal for water sports enthusiasts. You can sail, go boating or relax at the waters edge. Around the Sneekermeer you will find various marinas where you can moor and pavilions where you can enjoy a snack, drink and beautiful views over the nature reserve.
Visit Friesland's bustling capital. Discover its cosy streets, historic canals and atmospheric shops. Enjoy cultural festivals, admire the historical sights and taste local delicacies at one of the markets or in one of the cosy restaurants and cafés.
Visit the historic Frisian town of Hindeloopen. It is known for its traditional Frisian costumes, painting and the Skating Museum. Stroll through the cosy streets, admire the historical sights and look out over the IJsselmeer from the marina.
