Going on holiday with your family, friends or perhaps the whole street? Get ready for the time of your life at Holiday park De Katjeskelder! Nestled in the woods, the park is extra spacious, providing all the peace and quiet and room you could ask for, in addition to lots of activities. Accommodations range from a luxury villa and a special children's bungalow to a 22-person family villa with a whirlpool tub and steam cabin. The activities team makes sure the children have a blast. Of course they can also go to the pool or playground, or play hide-and-seek in the woods all day long. With an eatery and á la carte restaurants, Brabant's bonvivant culture is unmistakeable here. There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity, such as shopping in Oosterhout or Breda, boating in Biesbosch or a trip to an amusement park. If you enjoy walking or cycling, the park offers easy access to the Vrachelse heathland, where you can enjoy the flora and fauna of this nature reserve.

At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. Some of these accommodations allow you to bring 2 pets, but sometimes only 1 pet is allowed. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For dogs and cats, you pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. Would you like to make the most of your holiday? Then discover the Tropikat swimming pool. With a 20-metre-long slide and rapids, you can enjoy endless hours of fun in the water. And we have thought of the little ones too, with a paddling pool with a toddler slide and playpens for the tiny tots. Forgot your swimming aids? You can borrow them for free.

During good weather, And in summer you can also enjoy the outdoor pool and paddling pool.
Access and opening hours
During your holiday, you are welcome whenever you like! The swimming pool is open every day. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. Prefer not to swim, but want to keep a close eye on what's going on? There is plenty of room poolside, both inside and outside, to sit back and watch.
Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. Don't forget to bring a €0,50 coin as a deposit.

World of Wonders
Enter a world where fairy tales come to life. Where daredevils fly past dragons and ghosts on spectacular rollercoasters. Where you can spend hours listening to a tree telling the most beautiful stories. Or take a family glide through a forest full of fairies and trolls. Enter the Efteling.
National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is one of the largest areas of drifting sand in Western Europe, located in North Brabant. All those sand dunes make it look like a desert. It is therefore called the Brabant Sahara. Besides sand, there are woods and heathland, so there is plenty of varying scenery to wander through.
Breda is never boring and surprises all the more! Take a lovely city walk along all the cultural highlights, settle down on one of the cosy (covered) terraces or discover how infinitely green Breda has to offer for endless walking and cycling.
Good to know
The outdoor swimming pool is closed from October to April. In the off-season months, the opening of the swimming pool depends on the weather.
