General information

Accessibility

The Beach Houses are only accessible on foot via a dune path, about 10-15 minutes walk depending on your house number. Therefore, this location is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Parking

On arrival, park your car in the public parking area at the Arrival Service point. You can view the map here.

Own transport

If you travel using a navigation system, you can use the following address: Strandslag Julianadorp or Zanddijk 93. The Arrival Service point is located at the rear in the Strandslag Julianadorp public parking.

Public Transport

The nearest train station is Den Helder Zuid. Then take bus line 30 or 32 to Julianadorp, and get off at the Tigchelaarstraat stop. Then walk west on the Van Foreestweg and turn left at the end of the road, after a few minutes you will find Strandhuisjes Julianadorp on your left. This walking route takes about 25 minutes.

Barbecue and fire pits

Barbecues and fireworks are not permitted on your Beach House deck due to the risk of fire. Elsewhere, the use of a barbecue is only permitted under the following conditions:

  • Other guests will not be bothered by smoke, etc.;
  • The barbecue should be in a safe place;
  • There should be a bucket of water or sand next to the barbecue;
  • Start your fire only with kindling blocks;
  • Open fires directly on the ground are not allowed.
  • If there is a risk of a dune fire, we reserve the right to not allow barbecues.

Gourmet and grilling

The use of gourmet sets, electric grills, electric ovens etc. is not permitted due to the risk of electrical surges.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in the Beach Houses.

High chairs

High chairs are not standard in the Beach Houses.

Bollard cart

You will receive the key to your bollard cart during check-in. You can use this for free during your stay. The trolley park is located behind the arrival Service point in the public car park. So convenient to carry extra luggage! A €10 deposit will automatically be charged for the bollard cart when booking. When you return the bollard cart to the bollard cart park after checking out, your deposit will automatically be refunded.

Arrival

We look forward to welcome you at our park from 16.00. Please report to the Arrival Service point, where you will receive your key. This Service point is located at the back of the public parking on Zanddijk, near Strandslag Julianadorp. Check-in is possible on Mondays until 18:00 and Friday until 20:00. If you arrive on another day or after closing time of the Arrival Service point, please contact the Service point on tel.: +31 - (0)223 20 00 07.

Luggage service

On arrival days, the tractor will transport your tagged and sealed luggage (maximum 1 piece of 23 kg per person) from the parking lot to your Beach House deck around16.00, 17.00, 18.00 and on Friday around 19.30 too. Transport of your luggage is done at your own risk.

Departure

You can check out until 10am, late check-outs are not allowed.

Luggage service

On normal departure days, the tractor passes all Beach Houses once, starting at 09.00 and from number 491, and ending at number 401. Please note: your locked luggage must be ready at 09:00! The luggage will then be taken to the central parking, where you will have to receive your luggage yourself. When a lot of luggage has to be transported, the tractor drives several trips to the central parking. However, the tractor will only drive past your Beach House once to load luggage. On Sundays, there is an extra luggage service from the beach to the central parking at 17:00. You can sign up for this at the Beach Service point. Transport of your luggage is done at your own risk.
