City trip to Maastricht

The park is 20 minutes from Maastricht. There you will experience Burgundian Limburg. Start at the Maastricht Store for tips from locals and local products. Stroll through the historic centre for a day of shopping or soak up culture with a visit to the Bonnefanten Museum. Plop down on one of Vrijthof's terraces overlooking historic buildings, such as the red tower of Sint Janskerk. Don't forget to grab some coffee and tea from the century-old Blanche Dael.

On a local adventure

Visit Valkenburg aan de Geul (a few minutes' drive away), the hiking community of the Netherlands. Enjoy extraordinary views, beautiful hillside forests and hollow roads. You can't stop walking here. Prefer cycling? Get ready for trips over hills through forests, the moors and along the water. With stunning views as your reward. A visit to the golden yellow marl caves should not be missed either.

A splashing day out for all ages at Mosaqua subtropical swimming paradise in Gulpen, just 7 km from the park. Try the slides, rapids, hot tub, and outdoor pools (in summer)! Guests of Bungalow Park Schin op Geul can buy discounted tickets at reception.

Food and drinks

The newly renovated Los Bolos restaurant with its new bowling lanes is now open. Visit us and enjoy our warm Burgundian hospitality.

Kids

Let children romp in the indoor playground and reach great heights on the air trampoline. The indoor playground is no less than 800 m². Climb, slide, jump; it's all possible. Outside, there is also a playground with various pieces of equipment. The ideal place to let the children play while you enjoy a cup of coffee with the sun on your face.

Sport and games

Challenge each other to a game of football on the sports fields, serve the winning ball in (table) tennis or look for the net in basketball. Or go bowling with the family in the bowling centre. Feel like exploring? The bicycle rental is ready with regular and electric bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings. For golfers, a magnificent golf course beckons just outside the park - the perfect challenge for those who enjoy a gentle sport. Plenty of options for sports lovers.

Beauty and wellness

For a relaxing day of splashing, visit Thermae 2000, located three kilometres from the park. This wellness centre near Valkenburg has indoor and outdoor pools. The thermal water has a particularly beneficial effect on body and mind. Good to know: kids between the ages of 14 and 18 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

The bungalows are located on the sunny side of a hill, so you can always enjoy the sun. On Schin op Geul there are plenty of facilities for the whole family to enjoy, including a tennis court, sports field, bowling and indoor playground.

The surrounding area has much to offer as well. You can go on beautiful walks, bike rides and try over 400 km off-road mountain bike trails.
