Children can have a great time in the play loft on the first floor of the restaurant. From spinning and puzzle games to table football, slide down the slide or play in the ball pit. Hours of fun is guaranteed. They can also climb and clamber on the play ship. During high season, there's a special entertainment programme with fun activities for the kids.

The waters around Holiday Park Giethoorn are a true water sports paradise. Besides sailing, you can surf, canoe, water-ski and aquabubble. It is also an ideal place for anglers: cast your line from your accommodation in the fishing water at the park or at one of the fishing spots in the area. Prefer to explore nature? Rent a bike or canoe and discover the vast surroundings. With its many cycling routes, this region is also one of the most popular cycling areas in the Netherlands.

Your holiday at Vakantiepark Giethoorn

The quaint village Giethoorn in Overijssel is sometimes called ‘Venice of the North’. In this village you will mostly find waterways; the ideal place for water enthusiasts! Giethoorn is part of National Park Weerribben-Wieden and consists of authentic farms, kilometres of canals and dozens of bridges. You won’t find any cars, so the best way to explore the village is on foot, by bike or by boat. From february to october, you will have your own electric sloop at your disposal during your stay (excl. Tiny House 2 and Lepelaar hotelchalet 4). If you are booking one of our group accommodations, you can go out by boat all year round, weather permitting. In the centre you can find nice little shops, several museums and different restaurants and brasseries.

The area around Giethoorn is a true water sports paradise. Apart from dinghy sailing and sailing, there are also plenty of opportunities for surfing, canoeing and aqua-dubbing. Doesn’t that sound like great fun?
