Family holiday We find that the house wasn’t well cleaned. Kitchen, barh and toilet were ok, the rest was in bad condition: door handles, windows (glass and profiles), radiators, under the beds…spiderwebs everywhere. We find this simply a bit too much. Moreover, there was a always a bad smel in the bathroom and the toilet. We know and don’t except everything a 100% clean for this kind of stay but this was realy at the lower limit of the acceptable. It is also time to renovate the houses. The park’s location however is perfect for us, especially with the children: you have the sea in walking distance and shoos and groceries are also in the neighbourhood as well. That’s really the main reason why we opted for Hof Domburg.

Lovely stay at Hof Domburg. So easy to get into town, just a short walk and only minutes from the beautiful beaches. The sandy patch where many previous campers have camped can be a bit annoying but the toilets are super-clean, showers hot, and general ambience really good.

The house is really convenient for groups of 8-10 people, the kitchen, living room and bedrooms are big enough and the furniture is of good quality. The fridge could be bigger. But there are missing possibilities to hang your jackets and towels. Another row of hooks in the entrance hall would be nice. In the bathroom you could also fix more hooks for the towels, you cannot hang 6-8 towels on the radiator, and there are no hooks in the bedrooms where you could hang them. In the kitchen there should be a lamp over the sink and the work surface around it. The lamp over the table does not provide enough light to work in the kitchen. Nor does the light of the exhaust hood.

Although we overall had a good experience, here are few further remarks and suggestions: The water in the baby/kids pool was too cold The opening hours of the swimming pool and the kids play area could be extended by at least another hour. Why close a retaurant at 8? The cleaning of the house should be better: there were cobwebs and spiders in nearly every corner, above the fridge was dusty as hell and no one had vacumed under the beds in a t least a few weeks. Furthermore, the downstairs bathroom smelled terribly and no amount of airing it oit helped. The air vents in the showers and in the toilets were moldy/dusty and should also be cleaned. On the topic of maintenance: the lights in the house were not bright enough; the amount of times we would enter a room and feel the need to turn on the light, just to notice they were already was rediculous. And why is there no light in the entrance area right next to where the coats go? The outside light was also not working, so the short walk to the main path was pitchblack and an adventure. In the kitchen a board under the fridge area was taken out for a new dishwasher and simply left behind the couch. The now newly opened space under the kitchen appliances was a bit of a safety hazard fornour toddler. Overall, there were a few areas of the lark where lighting was not great that could have benefitted from some extra lights, especially the path coming back from the swimming pool, and all the little paths from the houses to the main path. The selection of food at the restaurant for lunch was not too great either, especially for (little) kids. And the staff around lunch time was not very welcoming and we felt more of a bother being there than welcome guests to a restaurant. ( the evening staff on the other hand was very friendly)

Wij hebben met 4 kleinkinderen een fijn verblijf gehad! Op loopafstand van het strand! Als de prijs ongeveer gelijk blijft komen we volgend jaar terug

We vonden ‘t een huisje te duur en het laatste jaar. van de 10 jaar dat we bij jullie waren zeiden we tegen elkaar… volgend jaar kunnen we dit niet meer betalen… Toch willen we gaan want het is ons weer goed bevallen. Mijn dochter doet het huishouden alleen met haar zoontje en kan niet zomaar vijentwintighonderd neertellen . Ik betaal mee en we waren in een huis comfort 5 met 3 … ik ga daarom sparen om het voor hen volgend jaar weer gezellig te maken. Dank voor alles.. groet Marili van Lieshout. - Willems , huisje 111

Het was heerlijk! Het ligt op een geweldige locatie!

Wie in der Vergangenheit schon erwähnt, könnten die Sanitären Anlagen ein Update erhalten. Ansonsten stehen wir mehrmals im Jahr auf S2 und sind dort zufrieden.

Mooi park

Leider war das Chalet nicht richtig gereinigt als wir ankamen. Leider funktionierten die Föne im Schwimmbad nicht und auch nicht die Steckdosen daneben.
