Family destination in the hills of Germany
On a quiet, verdant hill overlooking the River Moselle, you'll find Ferienresort Cochem, where the authenic half-timbered houses are typical of the area. In this rolling countryside you can truly get away from it all for a family break to remember. From activity programmes to a swimming pool; here, everyone is catered for. In the renovated central building, which opened in summer 2024, children can have fun at the Kids' Club and can even dance with mascot Koos. Teenagers can hang out in their own chill zone with tabletennis and a climbing wall, while the rest of the family enjoy a cup of coffee in the lounge. The 9- and 18-hole golf courses are highly recommended for both beginners and advanced players, but if you're looking for something a little more family friendly, the mini-golf course here is suitable for all ages. Those not participating can sit and watch the fun from the nearby terrace. Afterwards, you can all gather for dinner in the restaurant, which serves an array of tasty dishes and local Moselle wine. Take-away is also available. Will it be a freshly baked pizza or loaded fries?
An authentic destination on the Moselle
The Moselle region has been a favourite holiday destination for many years. Vineyards stretch across the hills and the river meanders between them. The castles and palaces are picture-perfect - and a castle tour is always fun! Along the Moselle river, you will find scenic cycling routes to enjoy on your rented bicycle, as well as challenging mountain bike trails. And don't forget to pack your walking boots ready to explore the hiking routes! After days spent discovering local nature, why not pay a visit to the historic cities of Trier and Koblenz? And don't forget Cochem itself - there is always something going on in this town on the banks of the Moselle.

Facilities
At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. You can only bring 2 pets per accommodation. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. Swimming is always a good idea! Cochem's indoor pool is small but great. It is the perfect place to swim a few laps. Or to splash around with the family for a while. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool with a slide. Forgot your swimming aids? You can borrow them for free.
Access and opening hours
The pool is open every day, but please make a reservation. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. On the day you're set to go swimming, please collect your pool key from the bike hire point.
Practical: lockers are available at the changing rooms. Don't forget to bring a €1 coin as a deposit.

Golfclub Cochem is right next to Ferienresort Cochem. From the golf course, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Eifel and the Hunsrück. For advanced players, there is a Moselle course with 18 holes. Not an advanced player yet? No problem, the Eifel courses consist of 9 holes. You can also follow golf lessons. You can also play a game of foot golf. A fun and challenging activity for the whole family!
At the golf shop, you can hire golf clubs, get ball cards for the driving range and book tee times. The shop team can be reached on +49 (0) 2675 911511.

The revamped supermarket will open on 1 July 2024.
At the supermarket, you'll find freshly baked rolls every morning. You can also get your daily groceries here. The supermarket even has a Vinoteque, stocking all kinds of local wines from the Moselle region - perfect to enjoy during your holiday or take home as a souvenir. The wine is also on the menu in the brasserie.

Feel like a real knight
Go back to knighthood times during a visit to the castles situated the highest on the Moselle. While touring areas like the knight's hall, the dining room and the hunting room, it feels as if you're living right there in that time for a while. Besides interesting guided tours, the Rijksburcht Cochem offers knight's meals on Fridays and Saturdays. Great to feel even more like a true knight.

Travel by cable car to one of the most beautiful viewpoints, the 'Pinner Kreuz'. And enjoy the view over the Moselle valley and the romantic wine city of Cochem.
Taste the delicious, special mustard
Have a look at the old mustard mill. Experts take you through the 200-year-old mill, and teach you how to make the special mustard. And you can also taste it at the end, of course.
A day on the water
Go on a cruise through the Moselle, and discover the magnificent nature. The program offers various excursions, including a visit to the historic wine-growing town of Beilstein, a day trip to the beautiful city of Koblenz, a one-hour trip on the idyllic Moselle, or a musical evening trip.
