A day out is just wonderful. But so is a day at home at the park too. You'll start your day on a high note with fresh bread rolls and local products from the mini market. If you feel like playing a game, you can challenge each other on the tennis court, on the outdoor chess board or with a game of mini golf. Or go fishing in the large fishing pond. Raise a glass on the deck with a delicious cool drink. Take a seat in the restaurant and enjoy a delicious meal. Don't forget to relax in between, after all, it's still a holiday!
Endless outings on the Veluwe
The possibilities are endless, whether by car or on your rented bicycle. To Harderwijk, Apeldoorn or Amersfoort. There are museums and theme parks aplenty! Not to mention lots of cosy streets, shops and terraces. Or head out into the countryside, to the Kootwijkerzand, De Hoge Veluwe National Park and Landgoed Schovenhorst. You can gaze out over the Veluwe from the Bostoren. Maybe you'll see your holiday home too!

Facilities
Swimming is always a good idea! The indoor swimmingpool at De Veluwse Hoevegaerde is the perfect place to swim a few laps. Or to splash around with the family for a while. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool.
Outdoor pool
Good weather? The heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May to the end of September (weather dependent). Here too, there is a separate paddling pool.
Access and opening hours
During your holiday, you are welcome whenever you like! The swimming pool is open every day. The exact opening hours are available on the website and in the app. Prefer not to swim, but want to keep a close eye on what's going on? You can sit back and watch from the side.

At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where pets are welcome. You can only bring 2 pets per accommodation. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For a dog or cat, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a pet. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. In addition, a chip and valid rabies vaccination are mandatory. You can read the rules on The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority's (NVWA) page.
