No two days are the same

Start the day with a refreshing dip in the indoor pool. While the little ones have fun in the large paddling pool with slide, water jets and fun obstacles, you can relax or actively swim laps. In the afternoon, challenge each other to a game of minigolf or another sport! Did you know we even have a padel court? And when you get hungry, join us in the restaurant, where a special play area awaits the kids.

Wetland

Villapark de Weerribben is beautifully situated in nature. From the park, you can walk or cycle straight into the marsh forests. Explore, for example, National Park Weerribben-Wieden with its vast reed lands. Of course, a visit to Giethoorn is also a must when staying in this region. Hire a boat and admire this unique piece of history from the water yourself!

Weerribben-Wieden National Park

The Weerribben-Wieden is a nature reserve formed by human hands, created in the 16th century by peat excavation for peat production. This created ‘weren’ (holes), ‘ribben’ (strips of land) and ‘wieden’ (lakes).

Giethoorn

Giethoorn is criss-crossed by many waterways. Make your day trip complete with a boat trip through the village and the nearby Weerribben Wieden National Park. You can rent boats anywhere in the village.

Anningahof Estate (Sculpture Garden)

The sculpture park of the Anningahof Estate is located on the outskirts of Zwolle, in a beautiful, natural environment. Here, everything revolves around contemporary Dutch sculpture from 1960 onwards.

Villa park De Weerribben is situated in the nature area “Kop van Overijssel”, hidden among green and water. The thatched villas seamlessly blend into the area. Why not explore the nearby National Park Weerribben-Wieden with its astonishing reed beds and marsh forest? Do you want to surprise your children with a nice day out? Take them to Klimbos (climbing forest) Avontuurlijk Paasloo or Amusement park Duinen Zathe in Appelscha. The “Kop van Overijssel” provides a real taste of freedom!
