The park is only a 100-metre walk from the beach, in a dune landscape. In the summer, you can swim in the largest swimming pool in the Netherlands: The North Sea! Or you can take a lovely beach walk and catch your breath on a terrace.
Surf school and beach theatre
Learn to surf at the beach. And enjoy a show at De Houten Kaap beach theatre. Every week, they organise a different workshop or activities for children, including theatre lessons, face painting, children’s yoga and discovering nature with the forest ranger.
Grab a table at Bij Marc
A drink by the fireplace, lunch on the patio or dinner with a view of the dune playground? It’s up to you in Restaurant Bij Marc at the park. The philosophy is simple: robust, familiar and pure grilled dishes.
