Our park is surrounded by water. A paradise with unparalleled water sports facilities: you can go sailing, surfing, sailing a sloop, canoeing or stand up paddling. You will find a recreational beach about a kilometre from the park, a great place to relax while the children build beautiful sandcastles.

Visit the charming historic town of Joure, lively Heerenveen and the vibrant Frisian capital of Leeuwarden. Near the park you will also find several museums: The Frisian Maritime Museum, the Planetarium, Aquazoo Friesland and Kameleondorp.
