By boat to Giethoorn, right through a National Park
Anyone who enjoys boating will enjoy Landal Waterresort Blocksyl. Explore the vast world by renting a boat from the park. You can sail up the Noorderdiep from the park, for example, to National Park Weerribben-Wieden (a fifteen-minute boat ride). This nature reserve is the largest continuous low meadow area in northwestern Europe, covering over 10,000 hectares. The world-famous village of Giethoorn is located on the other side of the National Park (half an hour by boat from Waterresort Blocksyl).
Luxury homes with terrace on the water
All houses are located by the water. This can be on the main canal where you can wave at passing boats, on the side canal or on the pond. You have the option of mooring your own sloop in the main and side canal. This is not possible in the pond. Fishing is also not allowed there. Through the booking process, you can specify a preference for the location of the accommodation against additional costs. On the parkmap you can see where the houses are located.
A block to Blokzijl
Blokzijl, a picturesque and historic town, is located 350 meters from the park. You can walk here or moor in the harbor of the former Zuiderzee town. The rich trading history and prestige that this place enjoyed in the sixteenth century, when peat was shipped from here to the rest of the Netherlands, can still be felt here. Take a seat in one of the atmospheric restaurants and cafes, many of which are housed in centuries-old structures.

Landal Waterresort Blocksyl is located between Emmeloord and Steenwijk in 'de Kop van Overijssel.' You can enjoy the beautiful location and the accompanying view from your luxurious accommodation on the water on the outskirts of Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Rent a boat from the park and sail down the Noorderdiep, into the Weerribben-Wieden National Park, or to the world-famous Giethoorn. The atmospheric, old Zuiderzee town of Blokzijl is within walking (and sailing) distance of the park, where you can stroll past the sixteenth-century buildings and have a snack and a drink.
