This park is all about horses. We have our own pony ranch and organise many different horse activities year-round. From pony riding lessons to combing horses, petting and snuggling, to going on a forest ride or a fun cart ride. Come and meet our sweet ponies.

At the park you will find a variety of rental bikes for all ages. Participate in a challenging mountain bike clinic that leaves right from the park. Or rent a bicycle and head out on one of the special E bike routes.

At Bartje's Farm, children can play with their feet in the sand, climb, clamber, slide, bake cakes with sand and water and tinker in Bartje's Hay Barn. You can keep an eye on them from a comfortable reading table while you sip a cup of coffee. Outside even more adventure awaits: bush craft, bow and arrow shooting, laser games and hut building. This is so much fun!

 Ponies and horses
Stroking, caring for ponies or a pony riding lesson yourself: it's all possible at Landal Het Land van Bartje's pony ranch. Already a skilled pony rider? Then go for an exciting outside ride and learn the first tricks of the pony adventure. Or enjoy the real Cowboy Experience and learn to ride without a saddle.
 Renewed: Bartje’s Farm
Bartje's Farm has been renewed! Here, young and old alike can now enjoy 400 m2 of playtime fun. Sand, water, you name it. You can climb, clamber and romp around on the challenging and exciting playground equipment. Feel like a snack or a drink? Find your perfect spot in the renovated restaurant with its spacious terrace, while the kids are having fun.
 Pump track
Test your biking skills on this challenging track. Ride a special pump track bike and gain speed while going up hills and turns without having to peddle. And once you have mastered one track, we have another one ready to explore. Young guests can practice riding a bike on their very own track!
 Hiking and cycling
Step into nature, explore the forests of Drenthe and venture out on the many walking trails in the region. Ready for an adrenalin rush? Pick up some speed on a mountain bike ride and race across the forests over rugged trails. There are also plenty of trails for a quiet bike ride through nature or to visit charming towns. Didn’t bring your own bike? Not to worry, you can rent a bike at the park.
 Sports and games
Explore the area with Bartje’s Deux Chevaux, our authentic horse-drawn tram. At the park you can play table tennis, play a round of billiards, football and mini golf: a guaranteed good time! Take a ride on one of our gentle ponies or let the children build sandcastles in Bartje’s farmhouse while you sip a cup of coffee.
 Swimming
The outdoor covered pool has been renovated. The large swimming area has been modernized, and additional changing rooms have been added. And in the spray park, children can have their fun. We are also hard at work on a new spray park, which will be open to our guests in mid-May. In a nutshell, swimming and sliding all year. Children can also play in the paddling pool.
 Kids
Always wanted to ride a pony? Then the pony ranch is the place for you! We love teaching kids how to ride. Come and play at our indoor play area Bartje’s Boerderij which has a great sandbox. Bollo and the Fun & Entertainment team are always there to make sure your kid has the time of their life. Bounce on the air trampoline or treat the whole family to a round of mini golf.
 Complete playground
Have the time of your life in our playgrounds: jump around on the bouncy castle and climb the challenging climbing track. Play a game of football at the Panna sports field and our youngest guests will enjoy the Bartje mini-farm. Play in the sand, go for a ride on a horse or slide down the haystack. Lots of excitement!
Bartje’s Adventure Golf
Challenge yourself to a fun game at Bartje’s Adventure Miniature golf course and see if you can hit a ‘hole in one’ through milk cans, across a winding bridge, underneath a horse and along ancient dolmen rocks.
Food and drinks
You have a choice of three restaurants at the park: ‘Het land van Bartje’, ‘Paviljoen De Swieber’ and 'Bartje's Boerderij'. On a nice day you can sip a drink on the terrace. For a quick bite we offer the Snackbar. Pick up your groceries at the Parkshop or have them delivered to your bungalow.
Beauty and wellness
Take the time to relax and treat yourself to a quiet moment to completely unwind. Restore your energy with a massage or a facial.
Golf
Golf lovers take note! If you are looking for a place to tee off near the park, head to the Golfclub ‘Countrygolf Ees’. A forested golf course with 18 holes, 3 par. Not an experienced player or a complete newbie? No problem; a golf license is not required. If you are looking for variety, this region is home to six other golf courses.
 Spray Park
Children can have fun in the spray park. Splash and splash with flowing water and fun play elements with fountains and water streams.

Welcome to Landal Het Land van Bartje

Riding a pony, hiking, shopping or viewing historical dolmens. A stay at Landal Het Land van Bartje offers plenty of amusement for young and old alike. The 400 detached accommodations of this holiday park are in the Hondsrug hills in the middle of the Drenthe woodlands. From the holiday park, you can enjoy magnificent bicycle and hiking trails along fields of heather and moorlands and through the woodlands of Drenthe. With its own pony ranch, indoor playground and swimming pools, there is enough to see and do at the park!

At Bartje's Farm children can play in the haystacks inside, climb, clamber, slide, play with sand and water and get 'dirty'.  The farm also offers the opportunity to enjoy a snack and a drink.
