If you prefer not to cook on holiday, you will find a large selection of cozy restaurants, cafes and rustic huts in Winterberg. The offering ranges from traditional home cooking to unusual specialties and from local beers to fine wines. In Winterberg you have the choice! Less than a 10-minute walk away, you will find both the large supermarket Edeka and an Aldi. Here you can get your daily groceries as well as warm, fresh rolls in the morning. A perfect start to your day!

Winterberg ski lift carousel

The Winterberg ski lift carousel is the largest and best-known ski resort in the Sauerland region. Thanks to modern lifts and floodlit slopes, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the gentle hills here day and night.

Visit the Veltins-Eisarena

The Veltins-Eisarena is an artificial ice rink for tobogganing, skeleton and bobsledding, located in Winterberg. The bobsled track has a length of 1609 meters with a total of 15 curves and bends.

Go ice skating with the family

The Willingen ice rink offers a 30x60 metre ice surface of professional quality. Both amateurs or pros can show off their skills and race across the ice, dance or play ice hockey.
