A wonderful holiday feeling with a traditional touch
Whether you like nature or culture, traditional or modern, it's all in the mix at Bungalowpark De Heihorsten! The comfortable holiday homes may have a historical architectural style, but they are equipped with all the comforts of today. The thatched villas have a large garden with a deck and comfortable patio furniture. Here you can have a delicious breakfast, enjoy the beautiful weather, or just laze away for the day. If you don't feel like hanging out in the garden, no problem. Go on a bike ride through the beautiful nature reserves or take a dip in the swimming pool. The children can romp around in the playground and a game of miniature golf is also a must during the holidays. You will find the mini-golf course at Boscafé De Soete Inval, across the street. Ideal!
The best of town and country
Your holiday home is located in the heart of the beautiful countryside, between moors, fens and vast woodlands. In the morning, have breakfast on the deck, and think about the adventure that awaits you that day. Will you be going for a walk in the adjacent nature reserves of the Strabrechtse or Somerense Heide? Or choose a nice route and explore the park's surroundings by bike? For the more adventurous there is also a fun mountain bike trail nearby. You can enjoy a gourmet lunch at the Boscafé across the road from the park and play a round of golf around the corner. The possibilities are endless. There is plenty to do for the kids too. Beekse Bergen safari park and Toverland amusement park are nearby. Spending a day breathing in culture is also highly recommended. Visit designer city Eindhoven or go and eat Limburg flan in Weert. in short, De Heihorsten is the ideal base for an active and relaxing holiday.

At this park, it is possible to book accommodation where dogs are welcome. You may bring a maximum of 2 dogs per accommodation. Other pets are unfortunately not allowed. There are pet-free accommodations too. There is something for everyone!

Price
For dogs, you will pay a surcharge per night. The final cleaning is mandatory if you bring a dog. This mandatory final cleaning is sometimes included in the price of your stay.
Bringing an assistance dog
Good to know: different rules apply for assistance dogs. If all the holiday homes where dogs are allowed, are fully booked, your assistance dog is also welcome in a pet-free holiday home. You do not have to pay the usual pet surcharge. To register an assistance dog, please contact our Guest Service.
Bringing your pet to the Netherlands
When travelling to another country, travel documents are mandatory. The same is true for dogs and cats. So, please make sure you bring your pet's European pet passport. Swimming is always a good idea! As a guest at our park you enjoy free admittance to the swimming pool. During your holiday, you are welcome whenever you like. The pool is perfect for the entire family with an adult pool and a paddling pool. Armbands are mandatory for inexperienced swimmers and children without swimming badges. Prefer not to swim, but want to keep a close eye on what's going on? You can sit back and watch from the side.

Take up the challenge with our 18-hole adventure mini golf course, and see how often you can hit a hole-in-one. Located on the edge of the Someren Heath, you can enjoy the countryside and a game of miniature golf.
