Swimming

As a guest of Roompot Domein Het Camperveer, you can use the swimming paradise of Roompot Beach Resort, which is only 5 km away. Enjoy the 63-metre super slide, the wave pool, the outdoor pool and the rapids. Definitely worth a visit!

Food and drinks

There are plenty of places to discover in the surrounding area. For example, opt for a nice meal in a brasserie, or a pizza from a real Italian restaurant? The beach is also home to several beach bars serving delicious oysters and mussels!

Kids

For children, there are plenty of things to do! Head to Roompot Beach Resort, which is 5 km away, and discover all there is to do. Climb and scramble through the indoor playground, discover the many playground equipment and jump on the trampoline. Make new friends at the kids' club and don't forget the Teen Zone! This is located next to the kids' club and is especially for young people aged between 13 and 17.

Veerse Meer

The Veerse Meer is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts: surfing, sailing, kayaking, diving, swimming. Explore uninhabited islands, dock at piers, and spot birds in the nature reserves!

Veere

Pay a visit to the town of Veere and its historic city centre. Some of the buildings date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Veere Museum is also worth a visit. Here you can discover the town's rich history.

Middelburg

In Middelburg, you can taste the city's rich history as you walk down the streets. Stroll past the shops, discover the museum and then enjoy a drink on a cosy terrace.

Your holiday at Roompot Domein Het Camperveer

On the edge of Veerse Meer, lies this beautiful English-style estate. The spacious and luxurious villas are scattered throughout the estate, surrounded by trees and plants. Cross the street, and you're at the Veerse Meer, and anyone mentioning the Veerse Meer, has water sports in mind. Surfing, swimming, diving, water skiing, canoeing, wake boarding. Or rent a boat and sail to one of the many islands, they are often equipped with a jetty. Veerse Meer is popular with surfers and divers because it has no ebb and flow, so the water is often crystal clear.

When it is dark in the evening, and you look across to the other side of Lake Veere with your glass of wine in hand, there you will see the cosy lights of Veere's harbour. Cross Lake Veere during the day by ferry and wander around the historic streets of the beautiful village. A few kilometres away is Zeeland's capital Middelburg, a city full of monuments. Visit the Zeeuws Museum or go shopping here. The unique surroundings are perfect for a nice bike ride. Stop along the way at one of the numerous restaurants and beach bars and enjoy mussels, or the oysters you have been looking forward to.
