After a day of activities, you can enjoy dinner in your own garden or on one of the terraces a few kilometres down the road in Den Helder. This is the beauty of the top of North Holland: it's never too busy. Here you can relax and get that real holiday feeling. Not that there's nothing to do here. On the contrary. Den Helder is a pleasant little town with numerous shops, terraces and fascinating museums. Fancy a day trip to Texel? Take the ferry from Den Helder and you'll be there in 20 minutes.
