Used the accommodation to visit friends and family in my hometown The Hague. Chalet was clean and well equipped. A blocked drain in shower and toilet was quickly resolved. A shame that visitors are not allowed to park on the park, especially outside season. Would have hired bikes but facilities were closed. Restaurant has basic choices but food it good as is the snack bar. Supermarket very convenient and good variety of choice. Annoying loud music on loop from childrens exercise area chased us off the terrace area, while there were no kids because out of season and hardly any children around.

Great location for the beach, but wouldnt stay again. Not the best park, looks scruffy, very impersonal, barely saw any staff or security, kept our bikes locked up based on other reviews. Campsite is cramped, pitches small. Booked a comfort pitch with water but this is shared between 2 pitches, guy next to us had hooked up his caravan to the tap, although he did say to let him know when we needed water, very cheeky considering wed payed for it. Techno music playing all evening from fellow camper. Both womens shower blocks closed for cleaning at 8am, had to queue to use mens. Automatic lighting meant showering in the dark. Play park is small, have to pay for trampolines. Could only find one play park on site. Restaurant closed one night for private function. Our child did like the football court but thats about it. Evening entertainment consisted of a screen with a video playing

Out-of-season stay Chalets were clean, as always. PIN numbers on the chalet entrance door is better than the older-style keycards.

I have stayed with my children and elderly relative a few times at this location, but the experience was less warm and personal this time. We arrived in the early evening and needed food as the drive from the UK was long (over 8 hours). The shop was closed, and the snack bar service was hostile. The oven interior was dirty. During our trip, the advice and information from the reception did not meet our needs, and we found answers to our questions elsewhere. The pool was closed without notice when we wanted to use it. We wanted to have a relaxed time over the Christmas break, but the weather was really foggy, so we couldnt spend too much time outside or by the beach as we had an elderly guest with us, and unfortunately, the English-speaking channels on the TV did not work, which was also disappointing; These few negative experiences dampened our week. The accommodation was a good size and well kitted out; we booked to experience the relaxing experience Roompot usually offers and didnt feel we did this time.

Lovely welcome. Shame we couldnt do an earlier book in than 12pm even though you could see our accommodation was ready. We even offered to pay more to get in earlier as the boat had docked. Not all lights in park worked at night so was dark on some pathways. Good site overall

The facilities were all good especially near the supermarket. Swimming, crazy golf, football, basket ball etc. The supermarket was well stock, with a good wide ranging variety of stock. Check in was very good and the staff were very happy to help and share information. Our chalet didnt have a loo roll. The blinds in the living room were see through at night, we did not like this fact. Bedroom blinds were very good. Perhaps a freezer in each property would be a good idea. Perhaps more subdued (low level) lighting would be good so that finding ones way in the dark was easier. The oven instructions were not obvious, perhaps mount them to the inside or near to the oven. Dissappointing Our stay was disappointing. The swimming pool facilities are in dire need of renovation, with a strong, overpowering chlorine smell that was overwhelming. The showers and changing rooms were cramped and inadequate, especially given the large number of guests present. The pool itself was overcrowded, making it difficult to move around without bumping into others, and the water temperature was even colder than we had anticipated. Additionally, parking proved to be a challenge, particularly for sedan cars, as the spaces were narrow and tight, making navigation and maneuvering a cumbersome experience. Regrettably, the high price of the rental did not align with the quality of facilities and service we received.

Excellent facilities good value

Countdown to Kijkduin! We have been coming to Kijkduin Park for almost twenty five years. It has everything we want from a holiday park. Not too busy, not too chlostrophobic and great food and drink! The staff that wait in the dining area at the park are always attentive and generally good fun too! There English is always superb too!

Food at Roompot The meal at the restaurant was excellent, tasty and value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pizza cook deserves praise.

Cleanliness Cleanliness is a problem but otherwise a very nice destination. Lovely environment!

Very good location, however the accommodation wasnt completely clean, dirty underneath the beds and the main table, which we cleaned. Also some of the walls looked like they hadnt been painted.

Door stops or draught excluders needed to prevent doors rattling and slamming

The Roompot App was not available for my country (Czech Republic) in AppStore, I wasn’t able to install it.

Hangout with the boys We had an awesome time at Vakantiepark Kijkduin! The check-in was a breeze, and our bungalow was perfect—clean, spacious, and fully equipped. We hit the indoor pool, played mini-golf, and even rented bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings. The on-site restaurant had great food, and we loved hanging out at the beach nearby. The park had tons of activities, and the staff was super friendly. It was the perfect getaway for us, and we’ll definitely be back!

Family of 9 We had a wonderful time at the Roompot, our accommodations were perfect for our needs and we used some of the facilities during our stay. We had 2 3 bedroom chalets, each had a well stocked kitchen and the beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with ants in our chalet but overall the cleanliness was good. We wish the facilities had longer hours especially the pool. It would be nice to have a swim after a long day of site seeing. The food available in the grocery was great as was the food from the restaurant. Overall I would recommend!

Excelent camping The best camping Ive stayed ever.

My familys first visit to Vakantiepark Kijkduin was back in the 90s when it was new! At that time we stayed in an Albatross villa, with my mother and our 4 children. We made the visit several times as our children were growing up. My sister and her family who lived in Den Haag would come and visit us too. Our family on my mothers side are all Dutch. I married an American and have lived there for the past 41 years, but we continue to bring our children and grandchildren to the park. Its wonderful how it has become such a special place for my children and also their spouses over the years. And we all feel my mothers spirit when we stay here. I also hope that my grandchildren will feel part of the spirit as they get older. We now have to hire 2 villas and in the future possibly 3! I am now getting up in years myself but hope to continue to make the trip from the USA. In conclusion, we had a very special time, and were sad to leave but look forward to more happy experiences in Kijkduin to come.

Voor de derde keer, twee weekjes geweest. Locatie perfekt, huis comfortabel en volledig ingericht. Volgende keer weer. Bedankt.

Great campsite The staff were really friendly and helpful at check in. We were in our Motorhome and made use of the shower blocks which were spotlessly clean throughout our stay

My Trip Everything was good but for a house for 6-7 people it was a bit disappointing, the fridge was very small , some lights didnt work and the store prices is high

Vakantiepark Kijkduin, Albatros 127 - April 2024 Nice house fully furnished in a quiet location, all services and the beach can be reached in few minutes. The car parking some time is not available close to the house, but anyway not is too far. The resort is in a fantastic location close the beach, pedestrian and cycle paths, easy for us to stay with our dog, and last but not least, Den Haag city center is only 20 minutes far ( by Car ). we will be back !

We had a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the evenings with children playing, calm music, food and drink available. The swimming pool was very clean, the restaurant food was incredible , the best burger I’ve ever had! The open kitchen is really nice to see. The snack bar is great too. The trampolines were a firm favourite for our 3 children and the accommodation was amazing.
