Your holiday at Château des Marais
Take in the beauty of the many centuries-old estates, châteaux and castles that dot the green Loire Valley. Nowhere else can you find so many châteaux so close together. It’s hardly surprising then that this region is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And you don’t have to travel far to see châteaux and other beautiful structures either: an authentic 16th-century château is located right in the park. And you’ll find the entrance to the estate of the world-renowned Château de Chambord a mere 500 metres away. This noble residence is certainly worth a visit, as are the beautiful gardens, vineyards, and the lovely little villages that dot the region. So, take your time and set out to discover each and every one of these gems during a cycling or walking tour.
Or if you prefer to take it easy, you can relax with a book beside one of the swimming pools, or cool off for a bit in the crystal clear water. Either way, you can end your day in style with a fantastic meal at one of the park’s many restaurants. With a glass of fine wine, you can sit back and consider your plans for tomorrow. Will it be an entire day devoted to wellness, or perhaps a visit to a château after all?
