A visit to the largely indoor amusement park is a surprising experience every day. One can go on the roller coaster, the Harakiri water ride or the lightning-fast Aqua Snake. There are wonderful carousels and a super-sized carousel, as well as play castles, sandboxes, a challenging maze and, of course, a wonderfully large Magic Garden.

Our Hertog Jan brewery in Arcen is well worth a visit. From authentic copper brewing kettles to an atmospheric cellar with bottles of Grand Prestige of various vintages. During a visit to the characteristic white brewery in Arcen, you follow the complete brewing process under the guidance of an experienced guide. You smell the hops, taste the malt and, of course, our beer.

Make a wonderful hiking or cycling trip in the surroundings, take a look in the gardens of Arcen Castle and explore the never-completed channel ‘the Fossa Eugeniana’. Or would you rather enjoy an Limburg lager on one of the many outdoor cafés?

Everyone is welcome on the Maasduinen golf course! The 9-hole golf course is beautifully situated between Arcen and Wellerlooi, and includes a mix of par 3-holes and par 4-holes. The different holes that are varied with bunkers, water features and trees ensure this will be a challenge for every golfer. Clinics are also organised here, so you can learn the basics of golfing with guidance.

Take the whole family on a day out at the Limburgs Museum. Make a journey through Limburg’s past and discover the rich history of this wonderful region. The Limburgs Museum presents striking temporary exhibitions and puts on attractive events. In addition to the collection, the building itself also has its own story and rich history.

In the beginning of the last century, missionaries were trained for missions in South Africa, Papua New Guinea and Brazil in Saint Paul monastery. Today, recreation park Klein has been built on the monastery’s estate, but you can still visit the remarkable former mission house and adjoining chapel.

A nice day out in nature? Come clamper about in the play area, building huts in the adventure forest, play golf in the Wild West, climbing the ropes and digging for fossils in the old clay quarry. Speelpark Klein Zwitserland is a great day out for the whole family.

On a total surface area of 40,000 m2 you will see thousands of roses in over 400 different variations, mostly planted in large beds, surrounded by green, peaceful landscape. In summer, you will find a wide assortment of flowering shrub, rambling and standard roses in the adjoining garden centre, grown in containers for direct sale.

‘De IJsvogel’ liquor distillery is not only unique for its traditional method of heating and firing, but also for the practice of the miller’s trade. ‘De IJsvogel’ is located in a fantastic restored watermill with a double waterwheel: ‘De Wijmarsche Watermolen’, which used to belong to the lords of the castle of Heerlycheit Arcen. The watermill is in the direct vicinity of the castle gardens and many consider it worth a visit.

During tours of the Boat Company Filia Mosae you will discover the most beautiful part of Northern Limburg from the water. From the village of Well the company organizes several cruises ranging from 1.5 to 3 hours. Experience and discover how professional and recreational boating find their way in the maze of waterways.

‘t Zoemhukske takes you to the world of bees, flowers and butterflies. In the lovely garden of the bee centre you are surrounded by plants, shrubs and trees. These have been especially selected to provide insects with as much honey and pollen as possible.
