Cool off in the water
In the summer months, dive straight into the park's open-air swimming pool. Being heated, you can swim here from early to late in the season. Or why not walk from your accommodation to the beach for the ideal day out spent building sandcastles, playing games or taking a refreshing dip.
Discover the surroundings
There's lots to see and do in the vicinity of Roompot Kustpark Egmond aan Zee, with charming towns such as Alkmaar, Volendam and Amsterdam nearby and plenty of peace and quiet to be enjoyed at the Zwanenwater nature reserve and at Zaanse Schans, with its famous windmills.

Nothing says it's holiday time like the sight of the sea! In the summer months you can walk to the beach to enjoy a refreshing dip. There's also a heated outdoor swimming pool at the park where you can swim a few lengths while the little ones have fun in the paddling pool.
Boredom is impossible! During the Dutch summer holidays, the Fun & Entertainment programme provides a plethora of activities for children to enjoy, from the DIY Koos nature trail to baking delicious biscuits. There are also several playgrounds at the park, plus a sports field.
Don't fancy cooking? Join us in the park's cosy restaurant for a cup of coffee and a snack, a tasty lunch or delicious dinner. There are also various pizzas and snacks available to take away, so you can enjoy them in the comfort of your accommodation.
Your four-legged friend is welcome at the park and in selected accommodation. Check the characteristics of the accommodation or select your pet(s) in the travel group to see which accommodation one or more pets are allowed to stay in.
Set out together to discover the surroundings via the many cycling and walking routes. Bring your own bike, or simply hire one from the park.

Roompot Egmond aan Zee is the perfect location for a beach holiday in The Netherlands. Go rockpooling, stroll along the promenade or take a nice long walk. Vibrant cities are also just a stone's throw away, such as our capital Amsterdam and Alkmaar with its fabulous cheese market. Prefer to stay local? Hire a bike and explore the resort's beautiful surroundings.
