Along the Sand Motor, for instance, a very special and vast stretch of beach that you see as soon as you walk onto the beach. What a view. And when the weather is nice, Kijkduin beach invites you for a summer day of swimming. A dream environment.

There is plenty to do for all ages at Vakantiepark Kijkduin. With an indoor swimming pool, an attractive square with a large terrace, stage and a padel court, boredom is out of the question. At this park, you will find much more than just an impressive dune and beach environment and the comfort of your own accommodation. Sign up for one of the activities organised by the Fun & Entertainment team in the high season, go romp around in the indoor playground and afterwards enjoy a meal in the eatery.

Swimming

Swimming fun all year round, thanks to the indoor swimming pool. Right in the park. Swim a few laps and relax in the whirlpool. For the youngest guests there is a nice paddling pool to practice their very first swimming strokes. During the summer months, when the weather is nice, you can enjoy a nice day on the beach or some water fun in the largest outdoor swimming pool in the Netherlands, the North Sea. On the extra extensive beach of the Zandmotor you can always find a spot, even on busy days.

Food and drinks

Enjoy a good lunch or a nice dinner at the park itself. Of course you can always cook for yourself, but with both a restaurant/pizzeria and a snack bar you certainly don't have to. Find a nice spot or opt for the takeaway options. An extensive three-course dinner, a quick snack or a good pizza. The choice is yours. For your daily shopping there is a supermarket at the park where you can also buy your fresh, warm rolls in the morning.

Kids

For the youngest guests there is plenty to do at the park. Have fun in the indoor playground, learn to make something beautiful at the Kids Club or a Meet & Greet with Koos on the central square. To name a few. And of course there are all kinds of playground equipment at the park and you can go wild on the trampoline. Fun guaranteed.

Sport and games

Challenge each other to a game of padel, mini golf or jeu de boules. The padel court is located in the middle of the park next to the central square, so show what you've got. A game of mini golf is especially special in the evening hours when the mini golf course changes into a moonlight golf course (from September to May) where the holes are atmospherically lit and the parts have become glow in the dark. Exciting! You can kick or throw a ball on the multifunctional sports and playing field. Don't forget to bring or rent an (electric) bike to discover the impressive coastline of The Hague (and surroundings).

Whether it is the sound of waves, the salty smell of the water, or the kites high above the dunes, you can always feel that the sea is nearby at Vakantiepark Kijkduin. In this vast green park, situated behind the dunes, it feels as if they invented holidays there. The beach is located at walking distance, there are cosy terraces, wonderful playgrounds, an indoor swimming pool and much, much more! You can stay in a comfortable bungalow, a comfy chalet or on the cosy campsite. Because cars are not allowed in the park, there is plenty of space and the children can play outside all day long.

From the park, it is easy to cycle to the bustling boulevards of Kijkduin and Scheveningen. Or if you are interested in Dutch history or simply looking for a couple of new sneakers, then The Hague, with its many sights and shopping streets, is the place to visit.
