Winter sports in the Braunlage ski area
The Braunlage ski area (up to 1000 m) on the Wurmberg offers skiing pleasure especially for families and skiing beginners. Beginners have access to almost the entire ski area with many blue slopes. The longest run in the ski area (2.6 km) is also worthwhile: the Untere Große Wurmbergabfahrt. The Hexenritt run, the only black run in the ski area, is the highlight for demanding skiers.
