The park is 8 minutes by bike from the village of Westerbork. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in the area where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Let's get some food!

Facilities Holiday park Drentse Lagune

From your luxury accommodation, you’re just a stone’s throw from the lake, your own private beach or the park’s central swimming beach. Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, relax on the terrace at the coffee spot or head out into the Drenthe countryside. After a day outdoors, you’ll be glad to return to your accommodation with its veranda and wood-fired hot tub.

Swimming fun

Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool at the park. There is a large pool 1.40 metres deep and, for young children, a separate paddling pool with play equipment and a small slide. Another plus: the spacious changing and shower rooms make it extra comfortable.

Indoor play and games room

Next to and above the coffee bar, you’ll find the indoor play area. Children can whizz down the slide, challenge each other to air hockey and table football, or play on the interactive play wall. For younger children, there’s a craft and colouring table.

Swimming beach with playground

The new swimming beach is a lovely spot for the whole family. Children can climb, swing and follow the trail to the peninsula, after which the cable car brings them back. There is a swing along the water’s edge and table tennis tables are also available. You can take a seat on a sun lounger or on the terrace and look out over the water.

Coffee bar with terrace

After a morning outdoors, the coffee bar is a lovely spot to sit for a while. You can get coffee, ice cream, cakes, soft drinks and a light snack, before settling down on the spacious terrace by the beach. Inside, too, you’ll find comfortable seating and space for a game or a quiet moment together.

Bike hire

You can easily hire a bike for a day out at reception. This way, you can set off to explore the countryside of Drenthe and discover the area at your own pace.
